Chemical Technology

The Laboratory for Chemical Technology (LCT) integrates chemical science and engineering in its research on catalysis, polymerization, kinetics, reactor design and process design. LCT is part of the Department of Materials, Textiles and Chemical Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Ghent University in Belgium and member of the Centre for Sustainable Chemistry (CSC) of Ghent University. LCT aims at research excellence and bottom-up innovation in the framework of technological, industrial, and societal challenges.

We are proud to announce that Dilan Tunçer received the Best Oral Presentation Award at the C1Chem Meeting for her presentation entitled “Role of Chabazite Support and Single Atom Vanadium Site Interactions in CO₂-Assisted Propane Dehydrogenation.”
The award recognizes the high scientific quality of the research as well as the excellence of the presentation. Dilan’s work provides valuable insights into the interactions between chabazite supports and single-atom vanadium sites, advancing our understanding of CO₂-assisted propane dehydrogenation processes.This achievement highlights both the impact of the research and Dilan’s outstanding contribution to the field of catalysis.
