LCT – team returns from two synchrotron campaigns

(19-12-2017)
The LCT synchrotron team (S. Theofanidis, V. Galvita, J. Hu, H. Poelman, S. Nadadur) returned today from one week work at the ESRF synchrotron. The first part of the campaign took place at the DUBBLE beam line, where in situ methane dry reforming in presence of sulphur (H2S) over Ni-based catalysts was investigated using X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy. Hereafter, X-ray Raman Scattering at ID20 was applied on as prepared and poisoned Ni samples, following light elements like S, O, Mg, Al.
