More than 30 Europe’s top chemistry professors, including Prof. Kevin Van Geem (LCT, UGent), two NobelPrize laureates and 21 PhD students from all across the EU gathered at the historic setting of the Brussels Metropole Hotel to recreate the iconic 1927 Solvay picture featuring Marie Skłodowska-Curie and Albert Einstein.

More than 20 CEOs and CTOs of Europe’s leading chemical manufacturers also joined professors and talented young scientists during the event.

The aim is to reinforce the alliance between science & business to ensure scientific progress and innovation find their way to the market and contribute to the EU’s Green Deal agenda.
