Driving
Chemical Technology

The Laboratory for Chemical Technology (LCT) integrates chemical science and engineering in its research on catalysis, polymerization, kinetics, reactor design and process design. LCT is part of the Department of Materials, Textiles and Chemical Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Ghent University in Belgium and member of the Centre for Sustainable Chemistry (CSC) of Ghent University. LCT aims at research excellence and bottom-up innovation in the framework of technological, industrial, and societal challenges.

Honorary Slin’ko Lecture for Guy Marin

(06-09-2021)

The International Conference on Chemical Reactors (ChemReactor) goes back to 1963, and its founder and idea inspirer was the famous scientist Professor Mikhail Slinko. The focus of his scientific research was catalysis, mathematical modeling of chemical processes and reactors, and the theoretical foundations of chemical technology. Starting from 2010, the Organizing Committee of the ChemReactor conference has established A Professor Mikhail Slin’ko Honorary Lecture which should be presented at every conference by a respectable and acknowledged researcher working in the field of the chemical reaction engineering.

The lecture will be given on 13 September 2021 at 1 pm. We congratulate Prof. Marin with this recognition.
