Driving
Chemical Technology

The Laboratory for Chemical Technology (LCT) integrates chemical science and engineering in its research on catalysis, polymerization, kinetics, reactor design and process design. LCT is part of the Department of Materials, Textiles and Chemical Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture at Ghent University in Belgium and member of the Centre for Sustainable Chemistry (CSC) of Ghent University.

Richa is a post doctoral researcher in the Laboratory for Chemical Technology at Ghent University since August 2018. Her current research activity focuses on inferring the reaction mechanism for oxidative coupling of methane using a unique transient kinetics tool i.e. Temporal Analysis of Products or TAP reactor.

She obtained her Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati in May 2018 where she worked on ‘on-board hydrogen generation using membrane reactors’. She holds masters in Chemical Technology from HBTI-Kanpur, India. Her research interests broadly include membrane reactors, reaction engineering, heterogeneous catalysis and TAP.
