Reactor design; Transition from fossil to renewable feedstocks: Thermochemical routes

Azd Zayoud holds a Ph.D. degree in Engineering _thesis title "Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) Combustor towards Third Generation of Oxy-fuel Combustion"_ from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG) 2017. The research work was a part of cooperation project "Indian-European" and funded by Marie Curie Actions program. Where, a method of pure oxy-fuel combustion in CFB is proposed and experimentally applied for Carbon Capturing and Sequestration (CCS), 2012-2017.
He works as a PostDoctorale researcher with Prof. Kevin Van Geem in the Laboratory for Chemical Engineering at Ghent University, where he joined in January 2018. The research is on the field of Thermochemical conversation of End-of-Life Plastic to Feed-stocks.
